Hi guys. As anyone who read my last blog will know, it was my birthday this weekend, and i spent it in rehearsals for Pantomime. By the way, in the pantomime there is 'Forty Thieves' (well, four) and i've been assigned to play one of them on certain performances. Basically, there is three teams, but myself and a fellow actor are sharing one of the teams, so we're doing 30 shows each out of 60. We have counterparted the same role for our shared team, and then we, in our own teams are simply ensemble for the time being, unless cast any other small roles within the production. Anyway, for now, as i'm rather tired after a 4am wake-up today, then i shall leave this entry at this. Keep you're emails coming :-). Ciao!

 Hello everyone. Well, it's been a hectic week for me, juggling all sorts from work, filming, going to the theatre and production meeting/workshop for 'The Only Release'. The latter happened today, and was good fun. Got my second draft of the script and it's looking really good. Some cuts may still have to be made, which is sad because the stuff in there now is all really good, but even still, that's what drafts are all about. So yeah, we spoke about some exciting ventures for the project, and hopefully, we will be able to do a majority of them, but my lips are sealed until so! For updates on the process you can find such at Copperspark's website, www.copperspark.net and i will keep my updates on here too! So, more work and rehearsals on their way, with Panto rehearsals again on Sunday (also my bday), so should hopefully be a good day all round.  Well, WOW!!!! I started rehearsals for Aladdin today, and it was fantastic. Loved it! Although i made a few mistakes with my voice and dancing at points but hey, not too bad for the first rehearsal. Just got back from watching High School Musical at the theatre by Starmaker (of whom Kate Winslet is a patron of, i might add! lol). Anyway, 'twas very good, except, and this is at no fault to Starmaker, it was too much like the film. If you've seen the film, you've seen the stage musical version, other than a few new songs! But was still good to watch, and well done to them. One rather shocking moment, which was bound to happen, was when a basketball was heading off stage (towards the orchestra pit), the cast member went to try and stop it and may as well have moshed with the conducter lol. Thankfully though, a few moments later, he returned back on stage to a round of applause, and carried on! This is all for this evening. The post below is from earlier today. Goodnight!
Just simply cannot wait until panto rehearsals begin this week! It'll soon be christmas! :-). I'm also going to be rehearsing on my birthday, so it better be a fun day :-p lol. Tis all going to be good festive fun. Had some feedback also about my 'drag' on Saturday night. People seemed to be pleased with it, thought it was a good laugh, and a few questions raised, but we all had fun, and the next one, i'm sure will be just as great if not better!

Hey guys! It's me. I've been waiting for the time to get this page running for a little while now, and here it is! Please note though that it may under-go changes at various points. But this is basically where I want to tell you how I'm keeping and whatnot, in a less formal way, whereas my What's Next? page is just the basic stuff. So, anyway, I will ramble on, but hey! This weekend I was involved with 'Missed Out' at my local theatre where i performed as a drag queen, aka, Frank-N-Furter from Rocky Horry, performing Sweet Transvestite. Was so much fun. I've got a video of it, which I will get put up on the portfolio page shortly. I am rather busy at the moment, so not getting a great deal of time. I begin rehearsals for Aladdin pantomime next week, and i CAN NOT wait!!! Anyway, i shall leave it here for now, and until next time, take care and stay safe! |
